Other Character Email Tampo/Sightings
From Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki
For better or for worse, the high popularity of Tampo Emails has resulted in several appearances of their characters, scenarios and formats by other users on the site. Remember, Joshua did not invent Tampo, Brody or Stlunko, so an appearance of one of them does not count as a Tampo Email sighting alone. Each sighting listed here has a description to explain why it relates to Tampo Emails. So here are all the Tampo Email sightings:
Due to the crazily high ammount of Tampo Sightings, Joshua is unable to update this page on a regular basis. If you want your sighting to be shown here, feel free to add it. Just follow the format.
Other Character Email Sightings
Sightings from various Other Character Emails, in alphabetical order.
OCE 1-Up Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email 1-Up, which are written by Mitchell00.
- Not Quite So 1-Up E-mails - He directly used four Tampo Emails involving 1-Up as Not Quite So Emails: "attacked," "dark side," "training," and "saargtsson." He even attempted to add them to his email quantity count.
- Spin-Offs - Has "Other Character Email Tampo" on the top of the "20X6 Spin-Offs" list.
- Emails #24 - #28: "Marzichan's Wand," "Boxing Gloves," "Trapped," "Going Home!" - 1-Up time travels to 30X2, where the date and scenario are taken directly from Tampo Email "future."
- Emails #31 - #32: "Forcefield," "Pudding 2" - 1-Up is captured by Tampo, Brody and Stlunko and locked in a holding cell, which is a scenario from Tampo Emails #14 - #18. The beginning of "Forcefield" is taken directly from the ending of the Tampo Email "attacked," and the email 1-Up opens refers to that Tampo Email as well.
- Email #36: "Spring Cleaning" - Stinkoman reminds 1-Up of when he was crying for pudding in a jail cell, a scenario from an easter egg in the Tampo Email "attacked."
- Email #37: "President" - Mentions Trevor, a character from Tampo Emails.
- Email #39: "5 Bucks - Mentions Tampo ruling the world in 30X2, a scenario from the Tampo Email "future." It also mentions the Tampo Character Zyves.

Then it mentions how Tampo tried to get 1-Up to join his side, which is from the Tampo Emails "dark side" and "training." Then in mentions Tampo's home in his emails: his Lunar Warehouse. And finally, 1-Up congratulates Tampo on having such a successful email show.
- Email #57: "Tampo 2" - First it mentions the three bosses using the SuperCom in the Lunar Warehouse. Then NEB-1 is mentioned. And finally, when 1-Up Email's paper comes down, Stlunko says that is not their paper, meaning that they have their own paper-like thing for their own email show.
OCE Blue Laser Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Blue Laser, which used to be written by CE1.
- Front Page - The front page is obviously based off of the Tampo Email front page. It is seperated into five categories: "Characters," "Blue Laser Content," "Email Blue Laser," "News," and "Misc. Info." This is practically identical to Tampo Email's. Also, the Misc. Info has sections for their Computer, Home, Email Raps and Page Titles, in the same order as Tampo Email's. Also, the "Email Blue Laser," "News," and "Email Rap" sections follow the exact same format as Tampo Email's, and the "Computer" part is strikingly similar as well.
OCE Doreauxgard Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Ye Olde Doreauxgard Emails, which were written by Mr. Cradgage.
- Main Page: Stuff Section - A section similar to the Tampo Email News. The author has admitted to getting the idea from there.

- Email #4: "Wait a Minute..." - In this email's easter egg, Tampo and Stlunko are at the SuperCom, which is one of their computers in Tampo Emails.

- Email #16½: "The Doreauxgard Show" - Tampo says that their inspection from the Master didn't go well, refering to the Tampo Email "inspection." The huge length of Tampo's 20th Email, "virus," is mentioned, along with the average lengthliness of Tampo Emails.
- Email #18: "Message" - Makes several references to the "holographic nukes" mentioned in the Tampo Email "sb emails."
- Email #20: "Bodies" - Apparently Doreauxgard watches Tampo Email in his spare time. Here he states that he really liked Brody's "sb clone email," which is obviously the Tampo Email "sb emails."
- Email #22: "Monument" - Mentions the SuperCom, which is Tampo's computer. It also shows Tampo being annoyed at receiving a Strong Bad Email clone, which the author has verified as a reference to the Tampo Email "sb emals." Again.
- Email #25: "Time Travel 2" - With so many references to Tampo Emails, it's practically a crossover! But don't worry, Doreauxgard isn't really Brody's best friend. At least not in Tampo Emails. In fact, in Tampo Emails, the boss trio don't even know Doreauxgard exists.
The following emails were written by the email show's new owner The Noid.
- Email #11: "tampo, brody, and stlunko" - Mentions Brody destroying chicken factories, which happened in Tampo Email "chickens." Doreauxgard also mentions Tampo having eyes, referencing the OCE Tampo version of Tampo.
OCE Ekersby Sightings

OCE Gunhaver Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Gunhaver, which are written by Shim-Sham-Sam. He occassionally makes obscure references to Tampo Emails in the storyline and then reveals the reference in a fun fact.
- Gunhaver Email By Name - Used the format of Tampo Emails By Name as a starting point, and it shows.
- Email #32: "Crapbert" - A fun fact reads "The way this email is answered is familiar to the way the emails are answered in Joshua's (the emailer of this email) Tampo emails, but the cave blowing up was not an idea based on future."
- Email #39: "New Mission" - A fun fact reads "Blue Laser's trap is based on the force field trap in the Tampo email, saargtsson used to trap and try crushing Tampo, Brody, and Stlunko."
- Email #44: "Evil" - A fun fact reads "Blue Laser calling the Cheat Commandos the dark side and getting mad that he was called evil is referring to the Tampo email dark side, and probably some other emails where Tampo, Brody, and Stlunko are called evil."
- Email #49.5: "50" - Although it practically references all Other Character Emails, Tampo Emails are one of the five email shows it directly references.
- Email #50: "Butterfly Effect" - Mentions the year 30X1 a lot, which is a reference to the Tampo Email time period of 30X2.
OCE Homeschool Winner Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Homeschool Winner, which are written by Technochocolate.
- Front Page - The front page of this email show is strikenly similar to the Tampo Email Content section of the Tampo Email main page. The thing that really proves that it's a copycat is the blue bar with "Emails" on the left and the email address on the right, just like on Tampo Emails'. Also, there's an empty "Homeschool Winner Comics" section, which is copied from the Tampo Comics section.
- Deleted Scenes - The format used on the "Deleted Scenes" index page and individual pages is copied exactly from the the Tampo Email Deleted Scenes index/individual pages. Technochocolate has admitted to copying.

Thse are Tampo Email sightigns from Other Character Email Mendelev and Dongolev, which are written by Dennis Dunjinman.
- Email #7: "Da bottom of the bucket" - Mentions Tampo pumping Stobats' stomachs for bones, a reference to when his minions did the same in "lazor beams." A fun fact reads "Mendelev calls S-to-the-b Stobat, which is a reference the the Tampo e-mail "Robot Body" or so," which technically makes no sense.
- Email #9.5: "Glixer Battle" - As a fun fact at the end reads, "This e-mail is dripping with Tampo E-mail sightings. Not only is the Cheat Commando's mission is to save the e-mail show, but Taronko and Stodpo are references to the bosses names. The spring gruzzle says the same thing Viral Brody said in "virus", and Brody had a spring for legs. Taronko uses a F.O.R.C.E., which is a device from Tampo e-mails. The last one is another reference to "lazor beams" because the PQ was sacrificed to create the doomsday device."
OCE Nebulon Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Nebulon, which are written by Lunar Jesters.
- "Send Nebulon An Email!" Section - Several emailers refered to Nebulon as "NEB-1," his name from Tampo Emails.
- Email #1: "style" - Nebulon meets Tampo, who accuses him of being NEB-1. He denies this. Tampo also accuses Nebulon of using his format, so he removes the two newest bosses.
- Email #2 - #3: "time travel," "history" - The emailer calls Nebulon "NEB-1."

- Email #54: "island" -The Cheat calls the emailer Neb-1.
OCE Reynold Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Reynold, which are written by Dennis Dunjinman.

- Email #12: "travel" - Reynold says that time travel didn't help Tampo Emails, because every time they time traveled, something bad happened. This refers to "time travel," where a volcano nearly splattered them with lava, "conquest," where they were defeated and almost lowered into dung, and "apocalypse," where they would have destroyed the universe. Reynold's friend comments that their time travel adventure in "future" turned out okay.
OCE Sticklyman Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Sticklyman, which are written by CE1.
- Front Page - The front page is obviously based off of the Tampo Email front page. It is seperated into five categories: "Characters," "Sticklyman Email Content," "Email Sticklyman," "News," and "Misc. Info." This is practically identical to Tampo Email's. Also, the Misc. Info has sections for their Computer, Dwelling, Email Raps and Email Page Titles, in the same order as Tampo Email's. Also, the "Email Sticklyman," "News," "Dwelling," and "Email Rap" sections follow the exact same format as Tampo Email's, and the "Computer" part is strikingly similar as well.
- Main Page: Characters Section - It says that Sticklyman gives his minions MeritPoints, which is the Master Sticklyman does in Tampo Emails. It then gives Saargtsson the same speech impediment as the one he has in Tampo Emails and the same basic personality.
- Email #1: "warp" - Very briefly it mentions Sticklyman wearing a helmet as if that's normal. Since he never wore a helmet on the H*R site, this probably relates to how he wears a helmet on Tampo Emails to go with his mechanical parts.
OCE Stinkoman Sightings
These are Tampo Email sightings from Other Character Email Stinkoman, which are written by Futuramaooy.
- Email #49: "Better Email" - Stinkoman receives an email stating that his email show is lame and that "that brain guy's email show" is much better, refering to Tampo Email. Stinkoman doesn't figure out who the "brain guy" is.

- Email #13: "Family Reunion" - An Ungurait mentions that Stlunko shouldn't use contractions in Tampo Emails, which is true. It is also stated that Stlunko had accidentally used contractions in an email once, as stated in the Fun Fact of the Week #4: "Stlunko? CONTRACTIONS?."
- Email #16: "Time Travel" - First it mentions the Lunar Warehouse. Then they meet the Tampo Email characters Chorch Commander, The Trickster, and Sidekick Bob. The plot that occurs in Tampo Emails "master" through "experiment" is explained, and some of the transcript is copied directly from the Tampo Email "experiment." - Main Quote: "June 8 - August 25, 2005" - It reads "The power crunch is the teleporter," which relates to the teleporter that was revealed to be a power crunch in the Tampo Email "saargtsson."
- Entry #2: "A Hospital Trip Once More" - Not only mentions the InstaNet, which is the future of the Internet used in Tampo's Emails, but also has the phrase "...broadcasted it live over the InstaNet." That is a play on Stlunko's phrase at the end of the Tampo Email "conquest:" "It broadcasts our emails live over the InstaNet."
- Entry #4: "Family Values" - Makes a subtle Tampo Email reference by mentioning "Ash Pudding," a product advertised in an easter egg at the end of the Tampo Email "lazor beams."
- Entry #5: "Hats All The Way" - Includes some of the events from the Tampo Email "conquest" from Homsar's point of view.
- Entry #8: "You're Scaring The Civilians" - Another reference to the "conquest" email. This time Homsar talks about the "Brain incident" and wants another "washing machine" (a.k.a. Stlunko) to attack the Brothers Strong.
- Entry #9: "Down With The Sickness" - Mentions the InstaNet a bunch. It also mentions the Tampo Email show and some of the events from "conquest."
- Entry #10: "Back To The Future" - 1-Up apparently told Homsar about how he was captured and ate tons of pudding in space. Him being captured relates to the Tampo Emails "attacked" to "saargtsson," including the ones in between. The latter fact about him refers directly to the Tampo Email "training."
- Entry #12: "I Want Pudding - Chocolate Pudding!" - First, Homsar mentions MeritPoints (which are from "inspection") in a random quote. Then Homsar tells us about a mutant pudding attacking, and wishing he could be saved by Majoresque. This references the easter egg of the Tampo Email "betrayal."
- Entry #13: "Today's Lab Game, Musical Bodies" - Homsar visits the SuperCom and then the Experiment Room in Tampo's warehouse. Then Tampo, Brody and Stlunko say some dialogue directly taken from the beginning of the Tampo Email "betrayal." Stlunko's famous sensors are mentioned, and voice commands are given to the SuperCom, because it lacks input devices.
- Entry #14: "Planet of the Brains" - Mentions the SuperCom and Experiment Room. The "flash movie" at the bottom is "Stlunko? CONTRACTIONS? - Shim-Sham-Sam," which refers to the fact that Shim-Sham-Sam made Stlunko use contractions in a Stinkoman comic, which in turn refers to the fact that Stlunko absolutely does not use contractions in Tampo Emails.
- Entry #16: "Temptation Island" - Stinkoman tells Homsar how the chicken industry was destroyed by a giant chicken, which refers to Brody's actions in the Tampo Email "chickens." Homsar then goes to visit a destroyed chicken factory himself.
- Entry #20: "The House of Science" - In the list of things "for Dummies" there are two Tampo Email references. The first thing is "Ash Pudding," a product from an easter egg in "lazor beams." Then there's "Technology That Makes You Look And Sound Like Stinkoman So You Can Double-Cross Somebody for Dummies" which is obvious reference to the tool used to make Brody look and sound like Stinkoman so they could spy on a betrayer in the Tampo Email "betrayal."
- Special #1: "Rock Opera! Celebrating 20 blog entries." - Contains the Tampo Email words "InstaNet" and "SuperCom."
- Entry #21: "There Is No Washing Machine" - Homsar tells the events from the Tampo Email "apocalypse" from his view.
- Entry #22: "Radioactive Goo!" - This entry makes several references to Tampo Comics. Firstly, the entry's name is identical to the first Tampo Comic's. During the entry Homsar claims to have eaten 386 fistfalls of dirt, seen drippy glowing green goo, have his head changed into a chicken and grown a large pair of ears. These are all things that happened to Stinkoman and 1-Up in that comic. Homsar's mood is "Mutation'd!" which is a line from the comic. And finally, the flash movie mentioned at the bottom is "Favorite Power-Up!" by the Gregginator. The name of the "flash movie" is the same as the second Tampo Comic, and the creator of it is someone who has emailed Tampo exclusively.
- Entry #23: "Video Game Madness" - Trevor plays a somewhat major role in this entry. Although their names are not actually mentioned, Booty and the Stunky '04 are referenced as well.
- Entry #24: "Experimental
FilmRoom" - Button 500 activates a low-budget security system to keep Strong Bad out: a wall of spikes. This is a reference to Tampo's low-budget anti-Stinkoman defense system in the Tampo Comic "New Security System!" Then Homsar once again mentions "MeritPoints," which are from "inspection." And the last button emits a hologram of a some robot stickman dude punching Stinkoman. This robot stickman dude is Master Sticklyman beating up his archnemesis Stinkoman. - Entry #25: "This Is A Catchy Title" - Blatantly says "Tampo Email." A more subtle reference can be found at the bottom of the entry: "Don't Snitch Pudding." This is Brody's chant from his section of the kids' show.
- Entry #26: "The Big Breakfast" - Mentions Ash Pudding again. The "Current Flash Movie" is Tampo Email 49 - Hovering, which is just a guess because Tampo Email #49 hadn't been made when the blog entry was released. The creator of the "cartoon" is J05H-ooa, which is the name of the Tampo Email universe, as mentioned in "experiment."
- Special #2: "Experiment Room Madness! Celebrating 20 Tampo Email references." - As the name suggests, this special entry is celebrating all the Tampo Email references made in Homsar's Blog. It contains the effects of eight buttons which each reference a Tampo Email. The first button references the first Tampo Email, the second one references the second email, and so on.
- robot body - Mentions Tampo Testings, a game that should be playable in 20X7 according to this email. Not only does it mention the 20X7 release date, but it also mentions "controlling NOT Stinkoman," "at least hours of fun," and "rated T for Tampo," which are from an easter egg in that email.

- Entry #30: "The Alternast of Realities" - Tells the first half of the story of the Tampo Email "marbles" from Imitation Homsar's point of view. Note that in the entry it's only a half hour between Imitation Homsar's accident and the marble collection, while in the Tampo Email there's several weeks seperating them.
- Entry #31: "Imitation Homsar's Blog" - Mentions the boss trio searching for Imitation Homsar's "marbles" and Strong Mad choking, both of which happened in the Tampo Email "marbles."

- Comic #67: "The Master's meeting"- In this, Sticklyman is eactly how he is described in Tampo emails, the bosses that were under his control (According to Tampo) were shrunked, and Tampo described Stinkoman as "evil"
- Comic #74: "Giant ice cream for a giant fist" - In this, The boss trio are together, and they talk about "Meritpoints".
Mr. Cradgage's Comics Sightings
- Comic #5: "They didn't put it in Stinkoman's House." - This comic uses the Tampo sprite from Tampo Emails, the one with eyes added on. The green goo dropping on Tampo and mutating him is copied from the storyline of Tampo Comic #1: Radioactive Goo! - Comic #6: "They wanna see me!" - The Brody sprite used (with altered eyes and neck) is the Brody sprite used in Tampo Emails.

- Comic #14: "There are some thing money can't buy...these aren't those things." - Besides using the Tampo Email sprites, this comic itself is a huge reference to the events that occured in the Tampo Email "tornado guy."
- Comic #16: "Dave: Part 2" - Besides the whole Tampo sprite thing, Dave says that Tampo's inbox contains 43 emails, the total ammount at the time of the comic's creation.
Shim-Sham-Sam's Comics Sightings
- Comic #3: "Bad Guys and Power Crunches/Stlunko Uses Contractions!" - First of all, it uses the Tampo, Brody and Stlunko sprites that were made by Joshua for Tampo Emails. Secondly, the title says that Stlunko uses contractions. This refers to the fact that Stlunko never uses contractions in Tampo Emails for an unknown reason. Then there's a screen with the background of some scenes with the text "NOT THE SUPERCOM!" on it, which not only references the SuperCom in general, but also a message about another computer seen on the first Tampo Comic. And finally, Stlunko tells us about how 1-Up got a power crunch that allowed him to teleport, but that it was burned up in the sun. This is loosely based on what happened in the Tampo Emails "attacked" and "saargtsson," although in those the power crunch was of the casette variety and Stinkoman rescued the power crunch from the sun.
- Comic #4: "Yeah, What the Heck Happened?" - Has the Tampo, Stlunko and "NOT THE SUPERCOM" screen sprites used in the last comic.
- Comic #5 - #6: "You'll Have to Catch Me First!," "Wow, They Heal Fast" - Uses Joshua's Tampo, Brody and Stlunko sprites.

Tompkins' Comics Sightings
- Comics #1 - #2: "You stole my power crunch!," "It was Stinkoman's power crunch after all!" - Both used the Tampo sprite with eyes, which Joshua had drawn for Tampo Emails.
- Note that the Brody sprite used in some of his comics is not the same sprite used in Tampo Emails, as its neck is not fixed. Tompkins must have edited it himself.
