12/23/05 - Alright, let me tell you what I just got for Christmas Decemberween today:

  • Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
  • A NINTENDO DS!!!!!!!!
  • Super Mario 64 DS
  • Some Nintendogs thing
  • Kirby & the Canvas Curse

12/22/05 - Okay... schoolwork is really holding me down today. Like, I'm only going to get a half hour of freetime tonight, and that'll probably be spent on Paper Mario 2. (Great game, by the way. Too bad Super Sam will never get to experience it. ;P ) So that means no fanstuff progress tonight. And it'll also make today the first day since last Saturday for me to not make a new Stinko Comic. But thanks to a large backlog, that won't be a problem.

Also, for those worried that the new comic will send Tampo down the drain, his 39th email is in production. And don't expect any Decemberween-themed update. Holiday specials are a tool of the weak-minded. [/bonus stage reference] (Hah! Super Sam's been burned twice in a single news update. XD )

But now, onto buisness. I've reached sort of a snag, coming right after email #39. You see, the original plan for the 40th email special was for it to be one long Tampo Comic-style email. But I'm sure now you know why that idea isn't going to work anymore. So what is it going to be? I'm not sure. Some sort of special text-based email, but not a super long one like "revolution." Probably something that advances the Zyves part of the plotline, maybe. (Heh... kind of funny that one Ekulmail.exe character lives on...)

12/16/05 - New Tampo Email is released! "Headmaster". At first I wasn't sure where I was going or whether it would work out or not, but once I reached the part with Supra-Samm, I knew what I wanted and started enjoying myself. Expect learning everything to know about universe headmasters, references to wiki users, and a reappearance of a character I thought was going to be a one-time only joke. - Joshua, your master.

12/15/05 - I created a Level 5 Sprite sheet! If you plan on using Nebulon or any level 5 enemies in a comic or something, I highly suggest that you download this so you don't have to get the sprites yourself. Plus it has some Nebulon eye and mouth poses that even I didn't know existed. So you should check it out anyway just to see Nebulon's round mouth.

Edit: I've now removed the "Not Quite Tampo Email" section and inserted the two not quite emails into the main email list with normal, lowercase names. They are still not quite emails, but I decided an entirely different list isn't really needed for such a small feature. Besides, the only reason I had a not quite email section was because all the cool people were doing it. I never really found much of a use for it, myself.

12/14/05 - I'm not sure if any of you guys released this, but I've been having a problem with Tampo Emails lately: The list was getting a bit too long. The thing is, I've never ever jever PLEVER liked the idea of moving some of my emails to an alternate page - my index page is supposed to be an index page to all my emails.

So I've considered many solutions, including possibly stacking the older emails up similar to the template, or maybe even adding the template after a shortened list. But neither of these ideas really pleased me. So then I happened to stumble upon scroll buttons in Bubsty's userspace. It was "Eureka!" as soon as they saw them.

They were extremely easy to implement, and I think it's only a matter of time before some other email shows copy this format. (In fact, I encourage emails that have had to cut off 50 or so emails, like 1-Up or Stinkoman, to make the change.) Enjoy! Oh, and a new scroll button rap to celebrate.

And the new email is coming along rather nicely. And by that I mean, I'm really pleased with it. And it's going to be in the "retro" style that "poorbt-mail" and "revenge" had. - Joshua, your master. 02:18, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

12/12/05 - What's that? Nothing new over the weekends? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Okay, so I slacked off. But I did work on the next email earlier today. And I'll give you a little bit of secret knowledge about it. As you may or may not have already been aware, Tampo and Brody have each had their own emails to answer by themselves. ("chickens" & "new stuff", respectively) So now it's Stlunko's turn! Prepare for Stlunko-type-email-challenges!! - Joshua, your master.

12/05/05 - New email released! I starting working on it yesterday, so this is probably, like, the quickest that I've finished an email since forever. I highly suggest you check it out. I said check it out! Then let me know how much you love/loathe it. - Joshua, your master.

12/04/05 - No update, but I've been working on a new email! Check it out, it's going to be (hopefully) great. It's called "clear out" (which is the last double-word email name since "tornado guy") and it features Tampo attempted to clear out his inbox! What will this lead to? Tune it to find out! Now with 50% more "ten emails"-like action!!

On a side note, "revolution" has finally won an award! And what a shiny award it is! Super Six. I'm hoping it'll get a mega six, which it could. I would tell you guys to vote, but then you'll probably vote for something else and it'll lose it's lead. Ignorance is key.

Speaking of ignorring, the whole Fanstuff Wiki seems to be slowing down... I'm really hoping it's just temporary. Schoolwork-induced, maybe? By the way, keep replying on your commentaries before I have to personally remind you! - Joshua, your master.
