1-Up is finally free from the evil shaft. I'm guessing after hitting and shattering the grate, Pan Pan sort of bounced back a little and landed behind 1-Up, stunned. So while 1-Up shuffles off on his little adventures, Pan Pan's stuck in a room that's not much bigger than he is. And with stubby ears like those, how's he gonna stop evil ear itchings? Ramming them into the wall, I suppose...
