Evil 1-Up gods, breaking the sprite comic rules of no pointless video game crossovers and no sprite bittage and style mixing... it's a good thing they don't really exist, or else we could have video game characters being miraculously resurrected all over the place.
There's no real point in this comic, it's just something I wanted to do. :P Plus a race of fellow 1-Ups with godlike powers seems like something 1-Up would think up and try to implement in his story. If there are other 1-Up gods out there, who's to say that he isn't one too, who just hasn't discovered his true potential yet? Yeah, I see why Stinkoman would silence those crazy rumors.
The large glowy middle 1-Up god is a 1-Up Mushroom from Super Mario World. The smaller ones, starting from the bottom left and going clockwise, are extra life power-ups from: Super Mario Bros., some old Kirby game, Stinkoman 20X6, Mega Man Classic NES games, Yoshi's Island, and some old Sonic game.
