And finally, another contest winner. Or rather, a runner-up. Basically the same thing, right? The joke has been edited a bit, but the premise is still the same. Anyway, this one was submitted by none other than Super Sam, so direct any Pooru-Pooru-related complaints to him. And this will probably be the last Pooru-Pooru you'll see in this level.
Here's the original transcript sent to me via forum PM.
{Stinkoman has just come off the ladder before the garden (about 3/4 through Level 2.1).}
STINKOMAN: I'm getting tired. I deserve a break!
{Stinkoman goes over and sits (or stands) on the gray thing that moves up and down. It doesn't move.}
STINKOMAN: Good thing I planted this garden in the middle of the kitchen!
{Stinkoman looks suspicious.}
STINKOMAN: Hey, I never planted a garden...
{Stinkoman opens the fridge next to him, and sees a bunch of plants and stuff grown from a Pooru-Pooru in the fridge.}
STINKOMAN: {yelling} 1-Up! What have I told you about putting plants in the fridge?!
At any rate, my previous winner prediction was a bit too high. Two or three seems more realistic. There will still be quite a few runners-up though to make up for it. And now, onto the comic itslef... I mean, itself...
I guess if you don't plant a Pooru-Pooru, it'll start leaking like a virus. And it won't just grow more Pooru-Poorus; give it a couple of months and you get all sorts of weird semi-robotic plants growing around. Don't question how this happens. The answer would cause your brain to eat itself.
The simple fact is that soon enough Stinkoman's house will be nothing but a giant jungle.
