1-Up and Pan Pan's brief vacation has just begun. Making the sweepstakes winners rely on an apprently-optional autopilot to get to their vacation spot might seem questionable, but then again the whole Suspicious, Inc. company is.
Normally it'd take several days to get to the moon in a spacecraft like that, but let's just suppose it takes an hour or so. Or maybe less. It doesn't really matter. Science fiction is all about shrinking outer space into managable sizes, after all.
In case you can't tell, the first panel has 1-Up narrating while the other three are what actually happened.
And if you forgot, that space shuttle is an edited version of a spaceship borrowed from Ekul's Stinkoman Sprite Comic, used with permission.
