And the flashback begins... but it's a little too far back. Scenes are much easier to make when you can just copy them from past comics. ;) Although I did correct a few minor errors in the old comics, so they don't have to bug you now. (For example, compare Stinkoman's mouth in the first panel here to that of the original comic.)
The first flashback scene is taken from the last panel of Comic #6, and the second one is from the second panel of Comic #10. You'll notice that I muted the speech balloons' colors and slightly tinted the whole scene yellow in the flashback, to make the current narrative stand out more, as it needs to be the main focus.
In panel 2, the panel's right edge becomes more yellow. Although not really important, I'll explain this by the characters approaching the edge of the hologram, where it fades into the yellow light seen in the side view. I did this to make the pan out from the hologram more obvious.
