Oh boy, free moon cheese! No, that's not an asteroid painted yellow. On some weird metal ground over a pit. 1-Up has nothing to worry about. The sign says to touch it, but I personally don't trust anything that substitutes numbers for words.
I decided to give Pan Pan a space helmet. It's just a little extra touch I decided to throw in. And I suppose he'd need oxygen. Although realistically he'd need a pressurized suit all over his body, but I'd rather not worry about that. 1-Up doesn't need any spacesuit for obvious reasons.
Of course, the last panel harkens back to that of that other comic from not-so-long ago.
