There are pretty much two kinds of people who read and follow a plot-based webcomic: The light reader who just stops by to get a quick laugh, and the hardcore fan who follows the plot, speculating on it and having to know every little detail. I gotta be careful because these guys will also plop out any plotholes that emmerge. It's dangerous.
And for the latter, this comic's for you. I couldn't think of a way to get the characters to explain this stuff, so I figure a comic like this was the only way to go. If you're a true hardcore fan, it'll seem familiar.
And if you're the former... well, I guess you just have to enjoy the Homestar quote. It's a reference to a very similar quote from the SBEmail "kind of cool". On a side note, this is a present-day character's first appearance in my comic, albeit a non-canon one.
