Well, I'm back. I'm not sure if any of you noticed it, but I actually was one something of a vacation from the Fanstuff Wiki for the last two weeks or so. Especially from updating my fanstuff. Now there were many reasons for this unannounced vacation! But the main reasons were that I wanted to enjoy my last days of summer vacation, and my computer time being used up working heavily on the knowledge base's awesome new Subtitles Project (which I highly suggest you check out if you use Mozilla Firefox).
And then the other reason (besides F-Zero GX, that is) was that I was at some sort of writer's block here. I couldn't think of any real good jokes for the path up to this point, and the winners I had prepared for it didn't quite work out. So to move on I decided to simply go around the block and skip to this part of the level. I guess it's for the best, as I kind of don't want this season to go too much further than the first.
Now it's pretty obvious, but this comic is referencing and paralleling Comic #11, where Stinkoman fell down another large structure, but the grass seemed to have cushion the fall a little for Stinkoman to defeat gravity and physics' attempts to shatter him into many pieces.
He's not as lucky this time.
Also Stinkoman getting bored of the fall is a reference to the easily done glitch at this part of the level, where if you hold still while falling here long enough he'll actually do his yawning animation in midair.
