The Poopsmith shows us the cartoon he made in 1937: Fanning the Flames!

Cast (in order of appearance): Pom Pom, The Poopsmith, The Devil, The Kaiser, Sir Maxwell Candlear, A Jester (easter egg), The Kidsmith (easter egg)

Transcript

{Pom Pom is standing at the stick, checking his e-mail.}

POM POM: (Hey, Pom Pom! I have noticed that Marzipan has a-)

POOPSMITH: (Pom Pom! I need to use your computer because some evil Eastern guy came up and threw daggers into my Crappy 486 and I have so many emails to check and I don't have enough money to buy a new one but I want to and I might be able to steal it if you help me.)

POM POM: (...Huh?)

POOPSMITH: (Move over. MEEDLY MEEDLY MEEDLY MEEDLY MEEEmail!!)

POOPSMITH: (Well, Boaring, I did make it a long time ago, back in... 1937. It was my birthday, and there was nothing to do, so we decided to make an old-timey cartoon. It was called... Fanning The Flames!)

{A paper-rattling sound is heard as the logo of "Fanning The Flames" appears. It shakes due to unbalanced support. Cut to Hell, where The Devil is poking the Kaiser.}

DEVIL: (Get up! You're late for torture!)

KAISER: No.

DEVIL: (We'll settle this with a duel! A pitchfork duel! And you don't even have a pitchfork!)

SIR MAXWELL CANDLEAR: {Bursts in} Look! Hell is collapsing!

DEVIL: (No! This hell was the cat's pajamas!)

KAISER: (Aah.)

{A badly-animated rock falls behind Maxwell. Way behind.}

SIR MAXWELL CANDLEAR: Ow. My head. It burns! Like hell!

DEVIL: (Don't fan the flames, we'll be right back next week! And maybe we'll hire better actors!)

POOPSMITH: (So, um, that's my cartoon. We never got a second episode, because some guy rejected it. Now, let us never speak of this again!)

POM POM: {Glares at The Poopsmith} (Go away! I was in the middle of checking my email!) {Single deuces The Poopsmith}

{A large piece of crap appears at the top of the screen, displaying the message "Click Here To E-Mail The Poopsmith."}

Easter Eggs

  • Click on rejected to see A Jester dancing around.
  • Click on speak to see a small scene of The Kidsmith's birthday.

{A birthday scene is up, and little versions of Homestar, Strong Bad, Strong Sad, The Cheat, and The Poopsmith are running around. A huge banner saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDSMITh 5/4/27!!!" is hanging above the cake.}

Fun Facts

  • "The cat's pajamas" was a phrase used commonly in the '20s to say something is exciting or good.
  • In the birthday scene, a banner says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDSMITH 5/4/27!!". If he was born in 1927, he was 10 when he made the movie, and 78 in present times.
  • The email Pom Pom was checking was sent by thatkidsam.
