Commentary
It looks like Steve's been eavesdropping, and Stinkoman and 1-Up haven't noticed. 1-Up with his short attention span wouldn't have seen Steve while telling the flashback. Anyway, here's Stinkoman's thoughts, blocking the following dialogue:
STEVE: "Since you're helpless and I know you have what Great Deity Brody wants, fork it over, NOW!"
1-UP: "But it's so pretty! And I like spoons better!"
Suddenly, Stinkoman can do something. Even though deuces might involve arms, they're tied up in the rope.
