Yeah... really not much. But it does help set up the story... and only I know how that applies.
The third and fourth panels originally had a smoke effect, which was just drawing some gray, curved lines and blurring them on Fireworks. It worked for my old 16-bit sprite comics back on the BnG Forums, but here, there's too much contrast. It didn't fit. And besides. Do burnt objects really let out smoke?
