And so, we start Chapter 3: The Wretched Kitchen with a comic that does not take place in a wretched kitchen. No, we go back to the shadowy guy who's always in his chair, watching the news on channel 3.14 (you can't see the number because not only is it blocked, but it's too small to be readable).

Originally, the fourth panel of the comic was supposed to show the guy in the shadows that Stinkoman is the guy sent flying out of the Lava Zone, revealing that he doesn't know what his nemesis looks like, which would be a flaw of the shadowy guy. However, I scrapped the idea because I thought Steve (the mutant, huge Grundy) said "Stinkoman" in comic 25 instead of "vile friend". However, even so, the shadowy guy should be cunning enough, not to mention that it'd be stupid if he didn't know what Stinkoman, the famous challenger, looked like.

The third panel's background was made by using the Gaussian Blur filter, which is how the backgrounds in 8-Bit Theater are made these days.

For those of you who are analyzing the guy in the shadows, you're given new information. He has great eyesight, that he can detect a speck that's out of place in a zoomed out footage of a nuclear explosion.
