So here's Pan Pan's first canon appearance in the series. The other appearances were in non-canon comics. Now, that is Astromund 529, and the events in the third panel happened before the events of chapter 1.
From this comic, you can have an idea what the power of the black power crunch is. You most likely won't, with your short attention spans, and all.
The Tree is based off of The Stick. Probably grew from The Stick or grew from a seed from The Stick. Met a rather violent end, eh?
