And so, we begin 1-Up's flashback with an interruption and text boxes with inner glows that show who's speaking (yellow for 1-Up, red for Stinkoman). However, Stinkoman reminds 1-Up the last time he told a flashback in a dangerous environment, and from there, you can conclude how the events in panel four came about.
You should expect more uses of the glow filter effect from here on. I had to redo the fire sprites so that they're less linear on the edges and more blurry, overall, less hideous. Although the fire sprite at the top of the panel's not perfect. Oh well.
Yes, that's Cheatball's spaceship. This still isn't Cheatball's official appearance, as that's just his ship being shown, but he's probably not dead. And yes, the next few comics will be 1-Up's flashback.
