Man, this comic has been in a state of half-finished limbo for two whole months... it's been way too long. But now it's out, and perhaps the wait is over! I'm sure I can force myself out of this rut known as Level 3.2. At least, I hope I can. The next one seems like it'll be tricky. I'm going to try to shoot for updates every other day again, but I'm making no promises.
If it weren't for that comment on my talk page yesterday, I'd wonder if any of my fans were still out there. Good to know at least someone was waiting.
As for the comic, Stinkoman charges blindly towards another slice of bread and accidentally gets himself a mouthful of thankfully-plastic ears. And takes a hefty chunk out of it in the process. I'm vaguely sure I've used the whole "eating Pan Pan blubber" joke before... but I just can't put my finger on it. Or maybe it was just those blubbernuggets.
And the first half of Stinkoman's line in the last panel is indeed a reference to the oh-so-famous Under Construction. Originally the punchline finished the phrase, but that just turned out lame.
