Because my new computer doesn't have Paint Shop Pro 8 (and I can't find the installation CD at the moment), I had to transfer the comic to my old computer and finish it there. Not something I want to keep on doing, hopefully I'll find that CD-ROM soon.
In the comic, Stinkoman blasts through the Ubber storm and gets the remaining nineteen gold pieces in one fell swoop. You guys didn't think I'd spend a comic getting each piece, did you? Level 3 doesn't have nearly enough variety for that. He inexplicibly stores the gold in his hair, which is his personal hammerspace.
And if there are any fellow MSPaint users out there who are thinking about upgrading to Vista, you might be wandering how Vista's MSPaint is. Well frankly it hasn't changed much at all, for better or for worse. Other than different (and better looking) icons, most of the tools and toolbars work exactly the same. However, there are a few differences...
For starters, the standard list of primary colors has been redone. The new group of colors works better, with the basic rich colors on top and more faded variants below, no longer based off of the primitive color quality of the Windows '95. Unfortunately my favorite purple background color is no longer there. I can still select it from the secondary color window, but I might end up switching to some new color.
The only tool to actually be upgraded is the magnifying glass, and for the better. Now you can simply zoom in and out at various magnifications with left and right mouse clicks, which is very convenient. Plus now you can zoom out further than 100%, which is nice. (However you still can only apply text at 100% magnification, which is a disappointment.) Another nice touch is that undoing and redoing can now go back and forth ten times rather than three. There are also a few small new toolbar options which do small things such as crop away whatever part of the image isn't selected.
So aside from a certain minor and avoidable glitch that comes when you move an expanded image around, Vista's MSPaint is a fine update to the old program with minor touches that enhance the program without forcing you to relearn anything.
