And now we're back to your not-so-regularly scheduled programming. Seriously, most of the reason I don't work on fanstuff through holiday breaks is because I find myself distinctly unable to concentrate on them. During the weekdays it's much easier because the alternative is sitting down unsupervised in front of my computer desk all day doing my home-style schoolwork. But when the alternative is mindless gaming and unrestrained Internet surfing... screw all y'all.
Anyway, this is sort of another one of those minor explanation comics, where you get to learn something that isn't all that important to the plot, but still. In this case, why Pan Pan had such a device and how 1-Up gets crushed so often. Well, this can't account for all Pan Pan crushings, but they can't all be pure luck either.
