Here, we see a variety of methods that Sam uses in order to move the TV, some of which are more successful than others. They are:
- Method 1: The Slave Labouring
Sam tells Pan Pan to push the TV. And he does! He doesn't get it very far, as evidenced by the position of the TV in the next panel. I didn't feel like having 1-Up standing up or talking, so I just had him sleep on the TV, which seems like a very 1-Up thing to do.
- Method 2: The Rocket Car
Having decided that the first method was taking too long, Sam goes and gets some old wheels and a rocket attachment. They decide not to wake 1-Up, and Pan Pan lights the rocket with a match. It blasts through the room and smashes through the wall into the next room, as seen in panel 3.
- Method 3: The Pudding Lure
Now that the wheels and rocket have fallen off, and since 1-Up was forcibly ripped from his state of sleepiness, they rig up the ol' carrot stick. Or, in this case, pudding on a stick. They tie 1-Up to the TV, and while 1-Up attempts to get the pudding, he pulls the TV along. It works slightly better than method 1!
- Method 4: The Tilted House
1-Up got tired and fell asleep again, so Sam just does it the "easy" way and tilts the house (it's doubly tilted this time!). Since the house was tilted before, it's not like things would get any worse. Anyway, 1-Up and Sam ride the TV down the sloped floor, and presumably through another few walls and into the kitchen, at which stage Sam de-tilted the house. Time-saving indeed.
So, the damage the house has taken is now as follows: broken external door, a hole in an external wall, a huge chunk out of one of the kitchens, everything on fire around said chunk, several broken inside walls, all the furniture repositioned and many either broken or cracked windows. Could it get any worse?! My userbox says yes.
