This comic determines several things - Sam works for 1-Up, Sam has a tendency to go on and on, and the oven clock is still working. Which one of these is important?! If you read all of Sam's speech, you'll also obtaininate some more information, some of which is relevant to the series.

1-Up and Sam seem to currently not-be-caring about the tiltedness of the house, although they're about to care. Greatly.
