Before I start on the comic content, let me just say that this was one of the most annoying comics I had to make. Due to the scalding hot Australian heat, my computer overheated and froze up just as I was finishing up. I had to restart, and I discovered that I had only saved the first panel! So, I had to do pretty much all of the comic again, although I think it turned out better the second time than it did the first time.

Now, the comic itself: over an hour has passed (as evidenced by the oven clock), and Sam and 1-Up are still catching up. 1-Up notices that something is up outside, and so Sam attempts to pull himself up to see what's happening. He can't quite get all the way, but sees enough to realise that something very, very bad is about to happen. And it did! A massive chunk has been blasted out of Stinkoman HQ by means unknown. I tried to give the building a bit of depth, and it worked well.

The background in the fourth panel is another convenient image from Google Images. Jibneypoints if you know where the fire on StinkoHQ is from.

The original comic had Sam's line different in the second panel. He was originally meant to say "I can't see properly! Curse our generation's genetic shortness!" When you think about it, everybody must be pretty short, since the cupboards and ovens are about as tall as the people. I changed the line because I needed a transition from them looking out the window to diving off their standing/sitting positions.
