Transcript

{We cut to the Bandwidth Limit Exceeded page that was what you would come to if you tried to access the Homestar Runner Wiki, Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki, and the forums. A whistling wind sound is heard. Then Gunhaver walks from the left.}

GUNHAVER: {singing to self} And I got to go to my email today! {then he turns to his left to see the Bandwidth Limit Exceeded notice} Bandwidth Limit Exceeded. Well, that just sounds like crap.

{Then Reynold comes.}

REYNOLD: Oh no. Homestar Runner Wiki and the Fanstuff Wiki and the Forums are not working! This is terrible!

GUNHAVER: Yeah! I mean, there are no Gunhaver emails!

REYNOLD: Well, there's that, but there are also the other people too!

GUNHAVER: Well, don't talk anymore. Our special genius is working with the whole server stuff.

{Then Gyro walks on-screen.}

GUNHAVER: 'Sup Gyro? What 'cha got there?

{Then Gyro takes out an arrow.}

GYRO: Here's the problem. Someone tried stuffing an arrow into the disk drive. I'm guessing that Arrowhaver and/or Blue Laser did it.

GUNHAVER: Of course! {raises fist} Blast you Blue Laser! Blast you!!!

{Then we cut to a black background. Then the words appear as they are sung.}

SINGERS: {voiceover} Buy all our playsets and toys!

{Then we cut to 1938 in a telegram room. Everything is black and white. Sir Gunsman scuttles to a telegram machine on the floor and picks up a piece of paper and reads it.}

{Then we see Sir Gunsman.}

SIR GUNSMAN: Curses! Everybody asks this all the time! {manning the telegram} Of course, you buffoon! Stop. You no-good scheister! Stop. I'll give you what's for! {stops manning the telegram} That was horrible! I don't enjoy this experience! Now I must save the world!

{Then Sir Gunsman scurries off. Then the telegram appears on the screen.}

Fun Facts

  • On May 30th and 31st (2005), the H*R Wiki, the H*R Fanstuff Wiki, and their forums were shut down due to the bandwidth limit being exceeded (obviously, Arrowhaver and Blue Laser had nothing to do with it).
  • The Fourth Wall breaks.
  • Arrowhaver joined Blue Laser in Who Shot Mr. Haver? (Part 2), so it's sensible that Arrowhaver would try to sabotage websites.
  • The part before the telegram part is based on the ending of Shopping for Danger.
  • Sir Gunsman is a Sneak Commando. Hued Ray is the Sneak Commandos' villain.
  • The telegram part is based on the one from 50 emails.
  • The first part of this toon is based on The System is Down
