STRONG BAD: Let's do the e-mail dance! {brings up e-mail and reads}

subject: stinkoman

Dear Stinkoman,
What would it be like if Stinkoman answered an
e-mail?
Your fan,

Futuramaooy

{Strong Bad says "Dear Stinkoman" questioningly and pronounces "Futuramaooy" as "Future-ama-ama."}

STRONG BAD: Man, what is it with you guys and Stinkoman? He's a freakin cartoon character! You act like he exists or something! And what's with this 'Dear Stinkoman'? I mean, do I look like Stinkoman to you? I don't even have blue hair! But anyway, down to buisness. {pronounces it "buese-ness, clears screen} Well Ama-ama, it's not really possible to see what it would be like to see Stinkoman answer an e-mail. So, I'll just leave it at that.

{The Paper comes down. After two seconds, it goes back up.}

STRONG BAD: Just foolin'. To find out, let's look at an old friend called TV {types TeeBee}.

{The screen fizzes to show Stinkoman at the Lappy.}

STINKOMAN: I am going to check the e-mail today! {brings up e-mail and reads}

subject: shiny red balls

Dear Stinkoman,

How do you type with round shiny red balls on your hands?

Brandon man

{Pronounces "Brandon" as "Bran-don"}

STINKOMAN: Well Bradly, my shiny red balls are my, 'Double Deuuuuuuuce!' busters. They go by no other name! This e-mail sounds like I'm insulted. Are you asking for a challenge? I know what to do! {types DELETED!, does not type the following} Prepare to be... DERIITEDOOOOOO!!!

{1-Up enters from the left.}

1-UP: Hey, Stinkoman!

STINKOMAN: {moves right} Who-wah? What are you here Honba-kyohaku Denrei?

1-UP: Slow up, Stinkoman! I want to see you on the cybernet!

STINKOMAN: Well, I was in a challenge with a compyman.

{The screen fizzes back to Strong Bad}

STRONG BAD: So there you have it, Something-something. That's what it would look like if Stinkoman answered an e-mail. Let's hope that never happens. Ever. Plever. Jever! Jevery!!! JIBEVERY! JIBNEY!!! {starts shouting jibberish and spins head around}

{The Paper comes down.}

Easter Eggs

  • Clicking "blue hair" will show blue hair on Strong Bad. It disappears when Strong Bad clears the screen.
  • Clicking on The Paper or the back button when they first appear takes you to a 404 link with a URL that reads "...This%20is%20an%20easter%20egg!" Note that this will force you to restart the e-mail.
  • If you click on "JIBNEY" You will hear the hidden blooper reel.
STINKOMAN: Wuh-wuh?! Why are you here? Honba... {very quietly} crap.

Fun Facts

Trivia

Weirded out.
  • If you view the flash file version, and resize the browser window so it is the same width, but about half the size, you can see Stinkoman's and 1-Up's reflection in the white during the Stinkoman scene.
    • Also, if you do the same thing during the Loading screen, you can see 1-Up's darkened reflection on the upper left.
  • The third easter egg was originally going to be a sketch of "Ms Jibney 'The Gibney' Gibney", but due to lack of time the blooper was put in instead. This is why you click on "JIBNEY" to hear it.
  • Strong Bad's closing line in this email started the "Jibney" craze!

Remarks

  • Stinkoman's Lappy 486 has a different bar on the bottom. It reads, "Jake on the jay-cob-corn", followed by the covered up "Time Travel" and "Jibney-fy".
  • The Tee Bee is actually Homestar's television. Strong Bad's TV is the Telebision.
  • "Honba-kyohaku Denrei" translates from Japanese into "Home-star Runner".

Goofs

  • The blue hair easter egg does not move with Strong Bad's head.
  • When Stinkoman is first answering the email, his face's reflection is on incorrectly.
  • When Strong Bad's first response is cleared and moves up, the word "buisness" is missing in the final frame of the transition.
  • When Strong Bad starts spinning around at the end, the computer reflects it differently.
  • In the last scene with Strong Bad, his head doesn't move when he talks and types, excluding the spinning at the very end.
  • The black around Stinkoman's eyes are missing.
  • During the last scene, Strong Bad's outline is missing.
    • Also, Strong Bad's eyes, silver "V" and blue diamond are lighter than they should be when Strong Bad is spinning around.

Inside References

  • The TeeBee is one of the two TVs in the H*R Universe.
  • "Jake on the Jay-cob-corn" is a reference to Jacob (wiki user Zannek), the voice actor who voiced Stinkoman and 1-Up.
  • "Jibney-fy" and "JIBNEY" are references to a teacher at Super Sam's, Ms Gibney.

Fanstuff References

Real-World References

  • "Slow up" and "Cybernet" are references to the original dubbing of Sailor Moon.
  • "Double duece busters" is a reference to "M-buster" and "X-buster", weapons from the Megaman game series which Stinkoman cartoons (and the game) resemble so often.
