Homestar Runner Strategy Guide/Quests/Mining Games Champeenship

To Start

To start this quest, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Complete the Temple of Lunaris quest
- The Cheat must be at least Level 20
Start the quest at this location:
- Lunaris Temple

When you walk into Lunaris Temple, you'll realize that the locales have transformed this place! The statues of Lunaris have been torn down, the walls have been repaired, and the whole place is now a mining outpost! If you talk to anybody, they will say that Ilko is late for the Mining Games Champeenship! Get The Cheat and get ready for some games!

The first game is a puzzle. Dynamite and gold will fall behind the rocks in a grid of 25 squares. Remember which rocks have gold behind them, and break them with your pickaxe! Avoid the dynamite rocks, they will make you start over! Collect 10 coins to pass.

The object of this game is to get to the treasure chest first! Two other contestants will strike the ground and start digging. You should do the same! You can press Confirm repeatedly to dig, and use the D-Pad/Stylus to change directions. The chest is somewhere in the middle!

You have to get out of the mine in under three minutes! There will be Burrowing Unguraits in the tunnel, so you can destroy them with your pick. You can jump around to dodge poisonous gas vents, and don't fall into the center of the Earth! In the last 20 seconds, lava will rise into the tunnel. You have to start over if you die. Sometimes in the tunnels you can find other contestants. They will sometimes attack you, but don't attack them back! Concentrate on escaping!

To settle the Champeenship, you have to win a battle against a Dark Dijja Mage! It isn't a boss, just a bunch of really hard enemies. It can make copies of itself, so destroy them! After a while it will split itself in two until there are at least 16, so the best way to get rid of them is to use an attack that hurts everything. They use all Darkness and Gravity attacks. If you win, you will be awarded with a Pickaxe Pipe and a Miner's Helmet! Yay, Ilko!
