CAST: Dan, Strong Bad, Pete

PLACES: GDD Basement

{Cut to GDD Basement. DAN is relaxing on the couch as a boombox is playing Suburban Legends' "Bright Spring Morning".}

STRONG BAD: {Offscreen} Hey, Dan. I'm rollin', you know.

DAN: What? Well why didn't you say so?

{DAN takes off his left shoe and tosses it over his shoulder. It hits the boombox and it turns off instantly.}

DAN: Hello, Free Country USA! My name is Dan, and my pals and I just moved here from-

{PETE walks in from upstairs. He isn't wearing any pants.}

PETE: Hey, Dan? Where'd you put my guitar?

DAN: Uh... Pete? Any particular reason you aren't wearing pants?

PETE: Can't think of one.

DAN: There's a camera rolling in here, you know?

STRONG BAD: Hello!

{PETE gives a short high-pitched shriek as he covers his pantslessness}

STRONG BAD: {Laughing} Nice legs, Pete.

DAN: May I continue?

STRONG BAD: Sure why not?

DAN: Anyways, we got this sweet house from Bubs. He offerred us a deal we couldn't pass up. He even gave my brother, Alfonzo, a job at his shop. Alfonzo's currently working off the payment on the house, but after that's done we'll have a steady income to keep us going.

STRONG BAD: Huh. Reminds me of a certain endless video game.

DAN: Anyway, I guess that's all I've got. See ya later!

{The video ends}

Fun Factuals

  • Dan and SB make a reference to Animal Crossing. I didn't intend to make the connection at first, but once I read it over I realized how similar the two were and I threw it in anyway.
