Skub's Ultimate Jaro
Let me preface this experiment for a bit, if you will. I'm Professor Skub, and I deal in robotics. Specifically, I deal in kitchen robotics; blenders, juicers, and other such things. But, like, they do it themselves so you don't have to! It's a practical use for AI that I think will usher in the new millenium just perfectly. Anyhow, I got a request earlier this month from a private contractor, sending me something called a Jaro. Said they wanted me to upgrade it. ... I think they wanted Professor Stanley, but what can I say? I take all the shady cash I can get.

Jaro
A brand new standard-issue model received today from shipping. Comes with the basics: hydraulic locomotion, motion detection, aluminium armor... Come to think of it, not very well made at all, is it?

After careful experimentation, I found that the Jaro's greatest weakness is its small base. I widened the base, and I also enlarged it. Now it seems more durable, and that's always a step in the right direction!

Walker Jaro
It has become increasingly apparent that the Jaro could do with better locomotion. That's why I gave it legs! Now it is able to walk, though only sideways, like a crab. It also has two eyes, for aesthetic purposes.
I have renamed this model to the Walker Jaro, since he could have gone with a name change.

Again, locomotion has proved a problem for our poor subject, so he is now capable of walking forward! Granted, it's... well, it's more of a waddle, but it's certainly progress! I have also reinforced its CPU housing (the middle section) with a more durable carbon alloy, lending it a darker color on its midsection.

Spider Jaro (Yaro)
Just recently I've come into a massive government grant. I don't know how, but I'll go with it! With this windfall comes more change for our Jaro: namely, his legs have been further upgraded, letting it walk with more advanced motion than before. Not only that, but his structure has been strengthened by rounding him off. Titanium spikes on the front can be used to damage enemies who walk too close (proud of this!), and, to finish off this upgrade, I've renamed it to the Spider Jaro. (My personal nickname for it is Yaro, but that's just me...!)
Now that the experiment is over, I have developed a brand-new prototype for a deadlier, more advanced Jaro. I've sent a copy of it off to well, whoever makes these things and I'm expecting a response soon. Hopefully they consider me!
