HOMESTAR RUNNER: {typing} What? You think I'm actually typing? No, that would be the work of my personable slave, Strong Sad.
{Zoom out to see Strong Sad at a keyboard 5 feet to the left of Homestar's desk.}
STRONG SAD: I'm sad.
HOMESTAR RUNNER: {typing} But it wasn't always like that. Allow me to indulge you with a little flashback...
{Homestar does a bad imitation of harp music, and we see Homestar Runner at a table near The Stick. Attached to the table is a sign reading "email shows edishun".}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Come one! Come freely! I need some guy to type for me!
{Bubs walks up to the table, with a large robot behind him.}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Alright Bubsy, lay it on me.
BUBS: This here's the Email Checka 3000!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Well, let's try it out! To the places!
{Cut to Homestar's computer. The robot is hooked up to a cable connected to the computer.}
VOICE: {offscreen} Homestar Runner Email, take one!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: I think me be a checking my emails a right now.
ROBOT: Error! Error! Misplaced modifier! Misplaced article! Misplaced sentence structure! Alert! Alert! Self destruct!
{The robot explodes.}
BUBS: {offscreen} I can fix that!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: {voiceover} And then there was the trained monkey...
{Cut to the computer again. This time, a monkey chained to a keyboard is next to the computer.}
VOICE: {offscreen} Homestar Runner Email, take three!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Email email... What the crap? All it says on the screen is "banana"!
COACH Z: {offscreen} Yeah, but his words per minute is impressive!
HOMESTAR RUNNER: {voiceover} And then there was Hu-hu-Homsar...
{Cut to the computer again; Homsar is at the keyboard next to the computer.}
HOMSAR: DuAaAaAh! I'm checking with pride!
