To Start

  • You will need to meet this criteria before you can start this quest:
    • Have completed all other quests in Free Country USA
    • Have a Castle ID
    • Able to defeat a Multi-Function Dragon
  • Start this quest at this location:
    • The KOT's Castle

Part One: No Choice

  • After learning that the King of Town has the Free Country USA Talisman, the party has no choice but to ask him for it. Go to his castle and ask him (he's in the pantry eating Butter-Da) for it, and he will tell you what to do. It seems that a dragon (or him) has eaten his sheep, and he wants the dragon killed and roasted! Go outside his castle and to the sheep field.

NOTE:If you examine the grass with an X on it, you'll get a message saying "Ummm... Nobody Home!" Come back later when you can go underground.

Part Two: Uncharted Dungeon

  • You will immidiately fall into a dark dungeon in which you will have to use field abilities and combos wisely to advance. Watch out for the Pink Scorpions and the Burrowing Unguraits! First, use Fire Chain to light up the room completely. Then, use Glove Surfin' to cross the huge ditch. Next, switch to The Cheat. Strike the pole on the next ledge ahead with your chain, then start swinging around it. When you think you can let go and land on the next platform, release. If you're lucky, you will be on the next platform! If not, repeat until you get to the next platform. Then use Dingus Whack on the center of the screen so the enemies all die. Continue on the straightforward path until you reach the Multi-Function Dragon...

Part Three: FIGHT!

Multi-Function Dragon
HP: 700
Attacks: Flame Breath, Magic Horn, Pots N' Pans, Sanitize, Tumble Dry, Puree, Clone Function
Strategy: Just keep hitting it with powerful magic and Beehives, and heal with Marzipan
when needed. After a while, he will clone himself! Use an attack to hit all of the clones
at once.

Part Four: Foodstuffs

  • The dragon will collapse and create a huge disturbance in the ground, so you will have to use The Cheat to grab on to falling pieces of rock and toss them elsewhere! Once you get out, talk to the King of Town. His chef is roasting the dragon, but he lost the talisman! Search in a painting of the KOT on the stairs for a Gravied Yam, and take it to the king. He will dig into it and choke on the talisman! Take it and leave for Arbenager Village.
