To Start

  • You must meet this criteria in order to do this quest:
    • Complete the "Temple of Lunaris" quest
    • Gain the trust of Uncle Poopaw (Provided in this guide)
  • Start the quest at this location:
    • Poopaw's House

Part Zero: Badgers

  • In order to start this quest, you must gain the trust of Uncle Poopaw. The only way to do this is to... Get him proof that Strong Bad really is his nephew! Under Poopaw's house (check the well) get the Photo Album, and see if you can stand to talk to Senor Cardgage to get a Cardgage Card. Show them to Poopaw and he will trust you.

Part One: Starting Easy

  • Poopaw is having a huge family cookoff against the neighbors, and he wants you to help him win! You can start by getting him some Red Radishes, Rain Chili, and a Brewing Pot, all of which can be bought by going to Qhagur Central and buying them at the place that sells Aught Five Crap. Bring it back to him, and he will give you the Cookbook. He will give you a recepie for Spicy Melonade. It will appear on the screen. Just press the buttons in the right order to do it. It should be easy. If you mess up somehow, he will add it to your inventory as a Kind of Spicy Melonade. If you run out of materials, run to the store and get some, and Poopaw will have the other ingredients ready.

Part Two: Pinecones

  • Homestar will say something about regular pie, and Poopaw will say that Diaper Pie will be a great addition to the cookoff. Get a pinecone from outside, get a straw from the creek, and you'll be ready! He will give you the recepie for Diaper Pie, so get cracking! This one's a bit tougher, you don't just have to put things into a blender. First, put the pinecone in the pot. Click on it to start it, and start sprinkiling the Seasoning on it, then immidiately take it out. Put the straw in it.

Part Three: Pre-Tend Ice Cream Showdown

  • Poopaw says that you're doing good, but he wants to fool the neighbors! He will give you a razor to shave The Cheat, but he will run away! Look for him in the well where you found Senor Cardgage, and you can shave him. Poopaw will give you a Nitrogen Gun and some sour cream. This one is a bit more fun than the others. Put the sour cream and the Cheat Hair in the bowl. Homestar will chuck it at you, so whip out the Nitrogen Gun and shoot it five times! It will sizzle and go back on the table. You can do it again if you want, there are plenty of ingredients.

Part Four: Legend of The Chekt

  • This is the last time you'll be able to practice cooking, so listen well. Buy plenty The Chekts (12 or 14 recommended) from Senor Cardgage, and you will be struck by a bottle when you go back in the house. It turns out that a lot of salt fell on you from the chandelier! Take it and go to the kitchen. Go to the stove to make pancakes (press "confirm" 40 times) and you're ready! Take a stopwatch in real life (or something) and set it for 30 seconds. Put a The Chekt in the stove and start the watch! When it gets to 0, take The Chekt out of the stove immidiately! If it is golden brown, congrats! If it is pink or yellow, start over. Sprinkle the salt on it, cover it in pancakes, and you're done! Get ready for the cookoff!

Part Five: Get Off That Smokestack and Bake That The Chekt!

  • The neighbors will taunt you, so you should show them what you have! Poopaw will give you the ingredients. Just make it the way before, with the stopwatch, but this time you'll have to fight an Angry Mistake if you mess up! Defeat it and try again until you win! If you bake a perfect The Chekt, the neighbors will lose and hand over a Strange Map. Go back to the house, and Poopaw will thank you for making a perfect The Chekt. He will give you a Cookbook to store recepies in, and some boots that creep Homestar out that he found in his backyard. You can start your cooking tycoon from here!
