Bubs sends Alfonzo to deliver a package to a loyal customer.

Places: Bubs Concession Stand, Open Field, Awesometown Bus Stop, Hibbleton Sq. (Awesometown)

Transcript

{Open to Bubs Concession Stand. Bubs is at the counter talking with Coach Z}

COACH Z: So then I says to him, "Hey! You get yer hands off of my potatoes!" That bugger ran like crazy after that!

BUBS: Funny, I didn't know you was Irish.

COACH Z: Yessiree! Irish as a dancing leprechaun!

{A phone is heard ringing in the Stand}

BUBS: Excuse me for a moment. {Yells inside the store} Hey, Alfonzo! Can you get that?

{Cut to behind the store. Alfonzo is reclining on a couple of crates reading a book}

ALFONZO: {Getting up} Yeah sure!

{Alfonzo goes to a payphone that is attached to the back of the Stand. He picks up the phone}

ALFONZO: Hello? ...Yes what can I do for you? ...Hang on, let me check. {He puts the phone down} Hey, Bubs! We got anymore imported trousers?

BUBS: {From inside} Fresh out!

ALFONZO: {Into the phone} No, sir, I'm afraid we're fresh out... I don't know where else you could find them... I'm afraid Swiss Polka Trousers are hard to come by... Ok, you too. {He hangs up}

{Alfonzo walks back over to his reclining spot when the phone rings again. He sighs, turns around and goes to answer it}

ALFONZO: Hello? ...Ok, hold on.

{Cut to the front of the Stand again where Bubs and Coach Z are. Alfonzo walks over to Bubs behind the counter}

ALFONZO: Hey, Bubs? It's for you.

BUBS: Dokie okie. Man the fort for a little bit.

{Bubs exits to the back of the Stand}

COACH Z: So how's the life of a working man, Alfonzo?

ALFONZO: It has its ups and downs.

COACH Z: Just like my ex-wife.

ALFONZO: You were never married!

COACH Z: Sure I was! To my job. Oh the grass of the field was so soft! And the football was so leathery! {Starting to tear up} I miss it so...

ALFONZO: You're still a coach, Coach.

COACH Z: Aren't we all?

ALFONZO: ...What?

COACH Z: Pickles!

ALFONZO: You have some serious problems, Z.

{Bubs walks back in with a large package. He slams it on the counter}

BUBS: Alfonzo I need you to deliver this to a very special customer of mine. That was him on the phone.

ALFONZO: You make deliveries?

BUBS: No. Usually I just put 'em on this.

{Camera cuts to a large catapult next to the Concession Stand}

ALFONZO: Has that always been there?

BUBS: {Handing Alfonzo a helmet} Ok you're all set. Hop in and I'll shoot you in the right direction.

ALFONZO: {Backing away nervously} J-Just give me the address, and I'll walk.

BUBS: Suit yourself.

{Cut to an Open Field. Alfonzo is walking carrying the package}

ALFONZO: My God this thing is heavy. I hope I'm close.

{Alfonzo reaches a sign that reads "Welcome to Awesometown"}

ALFONZO: {Reading aloud} "Welcome to Awesometown," huh? Guess I'm close.

{Cut to Alfonzo walking through a residential area. He walks up to a Civilian at a Bus Stop}

ALFONZO: Hello there. Does this bus go to... {Pauses to read the address on the box} "Hibbleton Square"?

CIVILIAN: Yes it does. You look like your from out of town. Whereabouts?

ALFONZO: Free Country USA.

CIVILIAN: Hm... Can you describe anything about it to me?

ALFONZO: Um... I think the King of Town is our mayor or something?

CIVILIAN: Oh! I knew I recognized your uniform from somewhere! Bob's Concessions or something?

ALFONZO: Actually Bubs. But yeah I work there. I'm supposed to be delivering something to Hibbleton Square.

CIVILIAN: Well I could gladly show you the way. We can take the bus.

ALFONZO: Sweet deals.

{Cut to Hibbleton Square. The bus pulls up to the Bus Stop and Alfonzo and the Civilian get off}

CIVILIAN: Here we are. I believe that's the house you're looking for.

{Cut to a small blue house. Alfonzo walks over to it, and turns toward the Civilian}

ALFONZO: Thanks so much... um... what IS your name?

CIVILIAN: Henry.

ALFONZO: Coolness. I'm Alfonzo. Thanks again.

CIVILIAN: No problem.

{Cut to the front of the house. Alfonzo rings the doorbell. He waits a while, and then the door is opened by Caity}

CAITY: Hello? Can I help you?

ALFONZO: Hi there. I'm from Bubs' Concession Stand.

CAITY: Oh good! Ert's package is here.

ALFONZO: Yep. Where would you like it?

CAITY: Come on in.

{The screen fades to black as Alfonzo walks in with the package. The Toon Ends}
