STUFF found some pretty gnarly fun facts back in their heyday. Slowly, they amassed a top-secret file full of rejected fun facts. These files have only just recently been declassified, now that STUFF has been out of commission. Our team of crack researchers has been combing through these for the most ridiculous fun facts, for your entertainment. Enjoy.

Trivia

  • Lou Brock used to hold the record for most steals in baseball.
  • In Michigan dentists are legally classified as Mechanics.
  • Radish is a meat.
  • This toon originally came out in 1979, but the ill-timed release of The B-52s' self-titled album overshadowed it, making it one of the most obscure Homestar Runner cartoons in history. A close second is "The King of Town's Physical", a live procedure done on air in 1986 to see if the King of Town was actually pregnant.
  • The King of Town was pregnant and gave birth to an entire deviled ham.
  • During the live-action scene, there is a reflection of... Something in the window. The Brothers Chaps refuse to explain what exactly is being reflected.

Remarks

  • Bubs was really funny this episode! They should do more episodes featuring Bubs.
  • I think The Cheat gained a few pounds during filming.
  • Strong Bad is so clever. and they are SO STUPID!
  • This toon doesn't exist, never existed, and never will exist. Move along.
  • Strong Sad is not wearing his usual Dolphins jersey in this episode.
  • Strong Bad does not have eyes in this episode, much like in Strong Bad Is In Jail Cartoon.

Goofs

  • In this episode, Homestar Runner is not seen wearing sunglasses.
  • In the background, if you listen really closely and turn the volume up high, you can hear Matt holding his pet cactus and stroking it softly.
  • In the deli scene, Homestar ordered the tongue sandwich. This is out of character as Marzipan is a vegetarian.
  • In this toon, Strong Bad refuses to draw Trogdor again for some reason.
  • Strong Bad says "Strong Sad" in scene 87. He clearly means to say "nut meat".
  • In one scene, Lil' Brudder only has one leg.
  • Homestar and Marzipan do not have children yet like they do in my fanfic.

Glitches

  • Bubs did not appear in this toon at all, even in scenes when other characters insisted he was and had conversations with him.
  • When Coach Z is screaming, it sounds like Bubs' voice.
  • In frames 1581-1729, The Poopsmith smells faintly of geraniums.
  • For the entirety of Strong Bad Loses His Head, Strong Bad is missing his head.
  • Coach Z is accidentally fat, blue, and runs the candy shop.

Inside References

  • Strong Sad appears in this toon with an electric guitar that turns into a snake. This is a possible reference to Parsnips-A-Plenty.
  • Homestar's murder sentence is a reference to The Reddest Radish.
  • In this toon, Homestar had a star on his shirt. This is a possible reference to One Two, One Two where Homestar had stars on the bottom of his shoes.
  • Strong Sad may be a reference to dragon.
  • This is another instance of Characters Losing All Of Their Limbs.

Real-World References

  • The Brothers Chaps are known fans of They Might Be Giants. In this episode, Bubs is a giant.
  • They stole my joke! I made that exact same joke to my friends eight days before this toon came out! I'll sue them! I'LL SUE THEM!
  • Strong Bad can be seen wearing a Tweety Bird shirt. This is a reference to his real-life appearance at the Tea Party Convention.

Fast-Forward

  • Strong Mad's lymphoma would be brought up again in sbemail 340, "esplanades".
  • Strong Sad's question of "What have you been smoking?" would be answered in "Cardgage Smokes the Mona Lisa", when it is established that Senor Cardgage has smoked the Mona Lisa.
  • In the following sbemail, Strong Bad checks another email.

Easter Eggs

  • If you click on Strong Bad's face, the following happens:
{Strong Bad removes his mask slowly, revealing a mess of muscles and tendons, all pulsing. His beady eyes shift which direction he is looking frequently. He screams in pain and collapses to his knees.}

  • If you click on Bubs' right tooth, you will hear the stifled screams of a thousand tortured souls, set to the dulcet tones of the hurdy-gurdy.
