Bueller is a high school senior who had incurred eight "absences" during the spring semester (nine total, including his "day off"). He takes the day off one day and goes out with his best friend and his girlfriend for a day in town, in spite of his school's principal, who is very suspicious of his actions and vows to bring him in. | Wikipedia article |
| Pom Pom | Norm Peterson | Hillary Norman "Norm" Peterson was a main character on the TV show Cheers, played by George Wednt. His real first name was named after his grandfather. In the course of the show's run, Norm was first an accountant, then unemployed and finally became a housepainter. He is the bar's best customer. | Strong Mad | E. Honda | Edmond Honda (E. Honda for short) is a video game character created by Capcom and is part of the Street Fighter series of fighting games. He has black hair in a chonmage and wears only a blue yukata. His face is painted in the kumadori style of makeup used in kabuki. | The Cheat | Potato Chip Popple | Potato Chip Popple is one of several creatures called Popples that first appeared in a puppet show with Shelly Duvall, as well as in a Saturday morning cartoon show from 1986 to 1987 by DiC Enterprises; the toys were made by Mattel. Popples resemble brightly colored teddy bears, dogs or even rabbits with long tails tipped with pompoms. The name "Popple" is a reference to the popping sound they make when unfolding themselves from such a ball. They live with a brother and sister, Billy and Bonnie, who think they are the only kids who have Popples until a neighbor family moves in with their own Popples, the Rock stars, Pufflings and babies. | Bubs | Rico Tubbs | Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs is a character on the TV show Miami Vice, which later spawned a movie in 2006. Tubbs is a detective working for the Miami-Dade Police Department as Sonny Crockett's partner. On the TV show, Tubbs is portrayed by Philip Michael Thomas; in the movie, he is portrayed by Jamie Foxx.
