Transcript
{Tampo and Brody are in their bedroom. It is rather dark.}
TAMPO: Why are we doing this again?
BRODY: I'm not sure. Stlunko said it was important.
TAMPO: Important? What's could be so important about celebrating this?
BRODY: No idea. I mean, Stlunko says it has something to do with a "different dimension."
TAMPO: I don't understand it at all.
BRODY: Me neither, but I guess it couldn't hurt, right?
TAMPO: I guess. Let's go see how the preparations are doing.
{Tampo floats away and Brody walks away.}
{Cut to the engineering lab. Lots of Chorches, Greggos and Jaros are working on a high-tech device. Tampo floats in.}
TAMPO: How's operation B.L.A.S.T. doing?
{A Chorch floats up to Tampo.}
CHORCH: Great. It should be ready for the big day tomorrow.
TAMPO: Good. Um... do you understand why Stlunko's making us do this?
CHORCH: No. I never understand instructions. I just do them.
TAMPO: ...okay. That's good, I guess. Get back to work.
{The Chorch floats back to the middle of the workplace. Tampo floats away.}
{Cut to green Holo Room. Brody walks in.}
BRODY: {shouting} Setting: Celebration progress! Holo-Room: On!
{Suddenly the background becomes a large scrolling list of words zooming upwards. They are different objectives and the percentage of their completeness. Brody looks at them. Then are blurred and hard to read. When they all pass, a large message is displayed on screen.}
PREPARATIONS: 80%
BRODY: Okay, that seems like we still have quite a lot of work for the big day tomorrow. Um... {shouting} Setting: Celebration explaination!
{A large message is displayed onscreen.}
File not found.
BRODY: Crap. {shouting} Holo-Room: Off!
{The room turns pure green again as Brody walks away.}
{Cut to Computer Room. Tampo floats in from the left and Brody walks in from the right. The Plasma has a big, strange pop-up on it with lots of coding.}
TAMPO: How's progress going?
BRODY: Fine.
TAMPO: Same here.
BRODY: So... did you find out what all this is about?
TAMPO: No. And it's really getting annoying. {sighs} I think I'll answer an email to get my mind off of it.
{Tampo floats up the the Plasma 2000. Brody closely follows. Suddenly Stlunko rolls in from the side.}
STLUNKO: {loudly} Do not touch the Plasma 2000!
TAMPO: Huh?
STLUNKO: {normal robotic voice} I just spent two hours programming it to run all the equipment going to be used for the celebration tomorrow. Touching it could mess it up.
TAMPO: Fine, I won't touch it...
{Brody bends down and whispers something inaudible to Tampo.}
TAMPO: ...if you'll tell me what all this is about.
STLUNKO: Are you sure? It is quite complicated. It will take a while to explain.
TAMPO: {annoyed} Yes, I'm sure!
BRODY: {simutaniously, annoyed} Yes, we're sure!
STLUNKO: I will now explain it to you both. First you must understand, we live in a universe with several... {voice trails off} ...dimens...
{Screen fades to black. Then the following words appear onscreen in white text.}
Will the celebration be ready in time?
Will everything go according to plan?
And most of all,
WHAT THE CRAP IS THIS WHOLE THING ALL ABOUT?!?

{The text fades away, and then the following text fades in.}
The next day...
{That text fades away. The screen is pitch black.}
TAMPO: {whispering, not visible} Is it time yet?
STLUNKO: {quietly, not visible} Yes. Prepare yourselves. Five. Four. Three. Two. One.
EVERYONE: {shouting} HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSHUA!
{Suddenly the lights turn on to reveal a far out view of the computer room. There are banners and streamers and balloons. The B.L.A.S.T. machine is in the middle of the room and it shoots out balloons and confetti. Music blares and lights flash. Flashy robots are everywhere, and Tampo, Brody, and Stlunko are in the middle of the room. In the background, the Plasma is visible with a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" pop up on it.}
BRODY: Surprise!
{The little robots all cheer and then move around. Suddenly a machine on the wall above the Plasma shoots out a holograph which projects the following picture over the entire screen.}
Message From Joshua
Hello, and welcome to my birthday "card" to me! It's pretty flashy, huh? Well, I think I did pretty good. A cookie if you figured it was for my birthday before this was released. B.L.A.S.T. stands for Balloon Launcher And Some Thing. Heh. I did the artwork all by myself! :P And... that's it. Okay, bye!
