Authors Comments: So this is how it begins. In the future, on planet Mas Repus. Weird huh? Apparently Homestar seems to be the "wise" one to a group of futuristic Homestars.... let's watch! Authors Comments: I'm not too proud of this comic. It's just a transitionary comic that leads to the real plot of this chapter. We do get to see Dr. Gorfmoh though, a normal, intelligable Homsar. We'll see more of him later. Also, if you're wondering why everything seems to be poorly created and 2-D (the ship, the buildings, etc) that is just how I'd like to interperate the difference between future and present. We'll also see more of that later. Authors Comments: This would all be a lot cooler if it were a video, with sound effect and all. Just imagine it being something like, "Shwaaa! Shoo shoo shoo. Guduh guduh gudah gudah! Puuuuuufew! Oh hello, I'm Homesta-! PU-PU-POW POW! SWOOOSH! WAH! Eeeeee..." Yeah something like that. Authors Comments: I'm kind of happy with how this one turned out. In case you couldn't tell, the last three panels are from the view of the PW44H. He is rebooting after the crash, which doesn't neccesarily mean he'll be functioning properly. Let's watch! Authors Comments: So this is when we first meet PW44H, in a stunning, blurry leap from the grand, but pretty busted up, X-Enz Space ship. But what's he really up to? Why is Homestar so scared? Why does the last panel have a red quote box rather than the usual gold one? Why am I asking you all these questions? Authors Comments: This has been the easiest comic yet. There's no special gradients or anything like that. Just two characters in different poses. Yep. Not much to say about this one... Authors Comments: Flux capacitor for the win! Yeah. So what they need to do has been discovered and they should soon be off into space! But how? Authors Comments: This comic got a little difficult as I had to create the arcade machine (which is actually completely blank), the box of fireworks (and fireworks) and the couch. Actually, with the couch I made it in PowerPoint first, didn't like how it turned out, and resorted to using an actual picture from the KB. It's actually the only thing in the comic so far that isn't PowerPoint (except for the field backround). I kinda like my surprised The Cheat though... Authors Comments: I'm liking these dark, nighttime comics. I think they're turning out pretty good. Sorry this one got in kinda late. I've been working on some upcoming characters for future comics, which kinda means I've got the rest of this plot sorted out. So... keep reading! Authors Comments: This comic got a little glitchy near the middle with the overlapping fill effects and gradients, but I think it turned out pretty well. And just in case your wondering, that pic of Earth was not made in Powerpoint. That woulda taken forever. So, this wraps up Chapter One. I kinda like my finale firework show and then... all is quiet. Onward to chapter two!
