{View of Tampo, Brody and Stlunko in front of the Plasma 2000. Tampo is facing the camera. Zoom to close up to Tampo as he addresses the audience, with the others offscreen. Brody's top half is never seen throughout the entire email.}
TAMPO: Hello humans out there, and welcome to my first email.
BRODY: Ahem, our email.
TAMPO: No, my email. Anyways, I realized that our popularity was diminishing due to us being portrayed as the bad guys of the apparently popular Stinkoman game. So... I decided that to boost our popularity...
STLUNKO: {in robotic voice} Give us money.
TAMPO: Not yet! Anyways, as I was saying, we... I mean, I decided to do an e-mail show like that Stinkoman guy. If it works for him, maybe it will work for us, too. And I'm also working on "Tampo's Testings!" which is going to be the hit game of 20X7!
{nothing happens, crickets chirp}
TAMPO: {whispering} Now!
{One of Stlunko's hands comes up on screen holding the box cover for Tampo's Testings, which is a big brain floating above a bunch of defeated Stinkomans underneath, and the title displayed prominently on top and the words "Play as Tampo!" circled in the bottom-right corner.}
BRODY: It's so gonna top the charts, man.
TAMPO: Definitely.
{Stlunko's hand sinks offscreen taking the box cover with it.}
TAMPO: Okay, so, um, let's get this email show started.
{Cut to full-screen image of the Plasma 2000. Tampo is floating in front of part of the right side of the computer, Brody's right leg is partly visible to left, and Stlunko's antenna is visible at the bottom.}
TAMPO: {singing} Email come! Email go! Email everyone ya know!
{As Tampo's song ends, Stlunko clicks on the email icon and this pop-up is displayed on the Plasma's screen. Tampo reads the email outloud.}
Dear Tampo,
What was it like when you had a robot body?
Laser Printer and Holo
TAMPO: A laser printer and a hologram? I wanted a human email! We're already plenty popular with the robots... {sighs} ...ah, well. I guess I gotta make due with what I got. Okay...
{Stlunko opens a word document and types whatever Tampo says. Comments by other characters aren't typed.}
TAMPO: Well fellow robots, this might come as a surprise to you, but... I don't remember.
STLUNKO: A deleted or corrupted file.
TAMPO: Yeah, when I lost that first challenge against Stinky, it wiped out all my previous memory, so, ah, I don't know. Yeah, the last thing I remember is waking up in a damaged robot body, without being able to control it. So... I guess I'll let my other two buddies here answer this email.
BRODY: Cool. I get to answer the first email!
STLUNKO: Alright. I will do my best.
TAMPO: Okay, Brody, you can go first. Tell these guys how it's like to have a body.
{Tampo floats off screen and Brody walks in front of the computer. Stlunko has to move to the side, so no one types as he talks.}
BRODY: Okay holographic printer, to have a body is a great thing, let me tell you. I mean, you can move around on your own free will without having to do anything weird like floating or sliding or rolling.
{Tampo moves closer to Brody.}
TAMPO: {angrily} What was that?!?
BRODY: Calm down. You don't know how it's like walking around like normal.
TAMPO: Why-! {stops suddenly as realization hits him}
{Tampo floats back to original spot upset.}
TAMPO: {mumbling} Stupid chicken... thinks he's... smarty-pants... popularity...
BRODY: Anyway, um, that's about it. I can't really fly, I'm kind of too big. But yep, that's what having a body is all about: normality. If that's a word.
TAMPO: {hurriedly} Alright Brody, I think they've heard enough.
{Tampo shoves Brody's legs and Brody is knocked away. A crash is heard and the screen shakes a bit.}
TAMPO: {whispering} That's the last time I let him answer an email. {normal voice} Okay, Stlunko. Tell the peoples what it's like to be a robot.
{Stlunko antenna is visible moving to the center of the bottom part of the screen. Tampo floats offscreen. As Stlunko talks, the text is typed in.}
STLUNKO: Being a robot is all about conveyer belts. Big, huge conveyer belts that double as wheels.
{Tampo reenters the screen.}
TAMPO: Thanks, Stlunko. You get brownie points. Go take a break somewheres.
{Stlunko's antenna is seen moving away}
TAMPO: Okay robot people, that's what having a robot body is all about: Normality and conveyer belts. And that should answer your question... um, I think. So, until next time, send us money. I mean, emails. And people emails, please. None of this robot email crap. Honestly.
{A pop-up appears on screen saying, "Click here to email Tampo!"}
Easter Eggs
- Click on the box art of Tampo's Testings! to see the back side.
One players! Control Tampo! NOT Stinkoman! Have fun killing Stinkoman over and over! Hovering/Laserball-shooting action! At least hours of fun! Tampo-type gameplay! Stinkoman 20X6 graphics engine! Rated T for Tampo.
- {Various pictures from the game are shown, each of which show Tampo killing Stinkoman in one way or the other.}
- At the end of the email, press the X in the corner of the "Email Tampo" pop up to see what happened to Brody.
- {Brody's legs are leaned against a cracked wall, little squashed robot remains lay crushed underneath. Lots of little Greggos and Jaros are running around aimlessly, squeeling in terror. Brody is apparently unconscious.}
- On the start menu throughout the cartoon, there is a minimized file called "TTDemo". Click on it at the end of cartoon to play a demo of Tampo's Testings!.
- {The game was graphics that copy Stinkoman 20X6's. A nondescript field and futuristic city background are shown with Tampo flying around. You move Tampo around with the arrow keys and place space bar to shoot Tampo's laserball shots. An endless amount of Stinkomans come to attack you, and you have to kill as many as possible before they fully diminish your health.}
Fun Facts
- Normality is indeed a word.
- The Stinkoman game mentioned is quite obviously Stinkoman 20X6.
- Brody claims to not be able to fly, yet he lifts both legs up at the same time when Stinkoman fights him.
- Stinkoman answering his own emails to gain popularity is a direct reference to Stinkoman's Other Character Email.
