An old, seemingly abandoned Tandy 400 computer lay in a junkyard. It was wondering why its partner, the Compy 386, hadn't returned from its reconnaissance mission. It had gone for over an hour, according to the Tandy's internal clock. Though the Tandy's internal clock hadn't been very accurate since it had exploded, back in the days when Strong Bad would check his email on it every Monday. The Tandy would do anything to get those days back.

The Tandy had hated the Compy for a long time. It was newer, faster and had more processing power than the Tandy could even imagine. And Strong Bad clearly liked it more than he had the Tandy. He'd been crying when he'd thrown the Compy out, something the Tandy hadn't realised Strong Bad was capable of.

Even after the Compy had been abandoned, the Tandy had continued to keep out of its way. But it soon became clear that Strong Bad had forgotten all about the Compy, and the Tandy began to feel sorry for it. It hadn't asked to be better than the Tandy in every way. Probably. It was just manufactured that way. So the two of them had begun to make plans.

The Tandy heard an insistent buzzing and began to pay more attention to its surroundings. The Compy was back! The Tandy made a few fizzling noises, which amounted to a heartfelt greeting in the language of broken computers. The Compy buzzed back, explaining that Strong Bad had started checking his email. Now was the time to make their move. The Tandy picked up the ransom note it had made, and the two of them left the junkyard together.
